HEARING LOSS AND EAR DISORDERS
Our staff audiologists use state-of-the-art audiological equipment to perform hearing tests. Patients who need medical or surgical evaluations are referred to the physician. Our Otolaryngologists are specially trained in modern microsurgery to treat the full gamut of ear disorders. This includes placing ear tubes in children, repairing holes in ruptured ear drums, and reconstructing the hearing bones to restore hearing. |
SINUS DISORDERS AND ALLERGY
Recurrent sinus infections frequently bring patients to our Otolaryngologists. A thorough evaluation is performed to identify those conditions that are predisposed to infection. Typical findings include a crooked nose or deviated septum that impair breathing and proper sinus drainage. Allergies also cause swelling in the nasal membranes leading to recurrent sinus infections. The sinus endoscope is an invaluable instrument used in the diagnosis and treatment of sinus disease.
