How do we do this? Our doctors spend a great deal of time pursuing continued medical education in order to maintain the most up to date information on medical and surgical care of the sinuses. The operative techniques used have been validated by extensive research.

What is different about our medical care? We have verified through research that there are many primary causes of sinusitis. Treating only one of these will result in a less than desirable cure rate. We believe that all causes of sinonasal swelling must be addressed simultaneously with effective medical care. One of the most overlooked causes of nasal swelling and sinusitis is reflux of stomach acids. Our research was the first to identify this cause of sinusitis, and we presented the first national/international papers and lectures verifying our findings. We have found this to be a valuable adjunct in controlling the symptoms of chronic sinusitis, often times eliminating the need for surgery.

What is different about our surgical care? Minimally Invasive Sinus Surgery is now regarded internationally as one of the premiere sinus surgical techniques. Published reports are available showing that by using this technique, our failure rates are the lowest reported internationally. All sinus surgeries are performed using the sinus endoscope and powered shaver; two instruments that are key to successfully performing the Minimally Invasive Technique.
